Hard route, hard climbing - "Orbayu" with Nina Caprez and Cédric Lachat

"In the Naranjo de Bulnes section of Picos de Europa National Park, two Orbayus await. One is the characteristic mist, or thin fog, that often settles and clings to the mountainsides, soaking every tiny rock all the way through. The other is a daunting climb. At an elevation of 2000 meters, it winds upward for 500 more, over thirteen stunning pitches, a crux at 8c-, and overwhelming exposure." In the spring of 2014, Cedric Lachat and Nina Caprez made their attempt on Orbayu, where success hinged on an intricate and complex balance of the psyche.
